What could you achieve?
The Civil Service Fast Stream graduate scheme is the Government's flagship graduate programme. With projects ranging from project management of HS2 in the Department for Transport or enacting wide reaching Civil Service reforms in the Cabinet Office, this blog will showcase the breadth of high profile and meaningful projects Fast Streamers are currently working on.
The Civil Service
The Civil Service is a modern and diverse workplace, which is truly reflective of this country. Graduates on the Fast Stream will be part of a workforce of over 420000 whose aim it is to make this country run as efficiently as possible. Where could you lead?
Education, national security, national health and transport are just some of the essential services that this country relies upon. Within four to five years, the Fast Stream will place graduates in leadership roles at the very centre of this. They will be provided with all the necessary resources to get there, and will follow a tailored learning and development pathway, which will include professional qualifications, formal training courses, mentoring and job-shadowing.

We aim to give graduates invaluable experiences and the opportunity to observe and influence how government is run within a range of government departments.
